Pension Fusion Passes 5M Scheme Members Mark
The providers who have selected Pension Fusion include the whole range of FCA & TPR regulated providers, master trusts, third party administrators and single employer DB and DC schemes.
Bath, UK, November 29, 2022 – Altus, an Equisoft-owned company, is delighted to announce that Pension Fusion has now been selected as the Integrated Service Provider (ISP) for over 20 pension providers, who between them represent a user base of over 5.5 million scheme members.
Altus, Financial services software specialists, and ITM, pensions data and platform technology specialists, announced last year they are joining forces to become the industry’s first commercial Pensions Dashboards Integrated Service Provider (ISP) – a recognised mechanism to connect to Dashboards as per regulations.
This partnership saw two independent technology leaders pool their specialist resources, skills and technical capabilities to develop an open-market ISP connection to pensions dashboards. Utilising their respective strengths in data transportation, data management and the combined experience of over 30 years’ working with UK pension schemes, their ISP provides:
“This commercial success follows Pension Fusion’s completion of the government’s alpha testing phase, and a successful move onto the current ‘early participation’ phase that has just been launched, making Pension Fusion the leading ISP among the multiple companies that are looking to create IT systems for this government programme,” commented Nick Meredith, Products Director for Pension Fusion.
The Pensions Dashboards Programme is a government initiative to allow members to find and engage with all of their different UK pensions through a single dashboard. Pension providers are currently working to deliver on the government’s Pensions Dashboards Programme and a significant number have now selected Pension Fusion as their chosen ISP provider following competitive tender.
“Pension providers are facing a huge challenge to implement the pensions dashboard in the coming year, and government focus remains firmly on delivery. As the race to sign up with companies who can deliver the technology hots up, it’s extremely exciting to see our status as the leading ISP provider confirmed by such a large number of clients and to know that we are trusted by them to deliver a successful outcome for their own members,” said Howard Finnegan, Products Sales Director for Pension Fusion.
“The fact that we were, we believe, the only ISP to successfully complete the government’s alpha testing phase is a testament to the strength of our platform. We have also already successfully completed our first external Pen Test (which forms part of the PDP’s conformance testing phase) and that has given our customers even more confidence that what we have built is secure, robust and safe for their members to use,” added Howard.
